Interesting title no? Anywho this is a life update journal but meh, just wanted to talk about yesterday. Yesterday the church I go to had a merger celebration because three churches have joined together on two campuses to to enhance the community, such as the fact the south campus is covering its spare rooms into classrooms for an on site pre school.
Well yesterday we had two services for the campus, the normal morning one and the merger. Needless to say, the Merger one was long. As I mentioned before I do the media stuff for the church and I find out the day of I'm in charge of it all. The turn out was only around 200 people but needless to say I was running around that sanctuary getting everything set on sound.
Now those who know me well know I'm a bit of a Yes Man, so I'll be honest being in ANY form of leadership was different but good. I could rattle off all the small problems but I'll instead say that good communication is what every organization needs and we had just that so every issue got nipped in the bud before it could be a problem for the service.
In the end the service was one you had to be there to see. Our choir leader was AMAZING on his solo. And so was the north campus' Bell player. Be Still My Soul played entirely by bells is just amazing to hear.
Everyone involved gave their all into it and it came out wonderfully. I'm happy I got the chance to be a part of something so amazing. The cookies afterwards were nice too.
After the service we had a ice cream treat thing and everyone loved everything. The ice cream was great, and some of our members went and made some really good cookies, mine got a few comments and a woman asked me for the recipe. Needless to say everyone had fun.
And with all that we start on the next bit. I have a new job that starts today. I do kitchen work for Steak and Shake. I'm both excited and nervous as all hell about the job. I was gonna wait to describe how my first day was but yea the service was still on my mind.
Should be interesting working with a friend from middle school.

life death and moving on.
On January 7th my grand mother passed away suddenly. As told by the nurse with her, she was livley and talkitive before falling off her chair and passing on.
The friday before i had just moved out, and it hit the family hard hearing of her passing. We are still working on getting everything in order.
Life's no Game of Dice
The title while hinting to a great quote was really just something that came to mind, and now that I have grabbed your attention I have come to a decision, which telling the people who will read this individually would be long winded.
I'm going to take charge of my life and look into therapy, which I've already started, on how to better manage and handle stress. My life and where I want it is going to be hectic, so I need have a better grip on stress and how to let it go. So for this reason I've decided to look into this.

The title says it all but is honestly true in a multitude of ways. Compared to high school, I'm physically, emotionally, financially, sexually and spiritually in a very different place then I expected to be. And I can't complain, though I'm not used to having responsibility.
This year has been strange is the only real word I can think to use. But I'm getting what I wanted and needed in my life slowly and am highly thankful for that, as well as being a part of some amazing changes in my local community. Part of me expects something bad to happen, but to be honest, while finding jobs is a pain now a days, I now know I'm not alone and have bac
Life Updates
Well my net is back through much slower but that is not what I'm here about. What I am here about is that I have work, well will soon.
So lets see whats new shall we.
*I had a job interview last week and am now waiting on a background check and an opening to be hired for a kitchen job at steak and shake.
*I have a sound board technician internship with my church
*Decided to get in shape starting yesterday with some light workouts for now.
